saints rescue

SAINTS was started in December 2004 after volunteers at other animal shelters saw many senior animals spending their last days in a shelter or pound. SAINTS is a sanctuary for senior animals to spend their final days of life in a comfortable and caring environment. From the time they opened their doors, the number of animals in need has been astounding and ever growing. They need our support to pay for high vet bills, food and up keep of shelter. barking babies™ has been happy to provide much needed funds from donations accepted at our doggie parties and gently used clothing, beds and blankets.

petfinder

From the comfort of their personal computers, pet lovers can search for a pet that best matches their needs - how easy is that! They can then reference a shelter's web page and discover what services it offers.

barking babies™ created the "Dogs of Yaletown" calendar. We raised over $500.00 for Petfinder.

BCSPCA

Founded in 1895, BCSPCA is the largest animal welfare organization of its kind in North America.  They rely almost entirely on donations to support their work, provide cruelty investigations and prevention, sheltering, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, education and advocacy programs, adoptions, and emergency rescue for nearly 50,000 abandoned, injured and abused animals in BC every year.

We carry several brands that donate part of their profits to the BCSPCA. Over the years we have donated products and gift baskets for their auctions to help raise funds.

We do not, or ever have, sold puppies or support puppy mills in any manner. If you're looking to add a little bundle of furry love to your family, look for rescue groups, visit your local shelter, or research reputable, registered breeders! Do not buy from pet stores.
